Anyone hardly supposed before the Euroleague Top 16 start that the game of our team vs Prokom Gdynya will define the leader of the Group G after the first leg.
Spectacular play of Polish club, which made strong opponents’ blood boil on the regular season stage, did not surprise CSKA coaches. “It is not a surprise that Prokom took the lead in our group after two weeks of the Top 16, - Evgeny Pashutin said. They were competitive against Panathinaikos, they defeated Real and Khimki at home, they beat Unicaja by 20 points a week ago, so they know how to win difficult games. Our task will be to stop their quick game and to play organized defense against their leaders – Logan, Ewing, Burrell, Woods and others. We should be focused and well-prepared.”
Coach Pashutin cannot use the full roster. Victor Keyru (back) is joined on inactive list by Artem Zabelin (cold). Probably the roster will contain only 11 players.
