New CSKA center Dragan Tarlac, who has signed two-year contract today, answered some questions for our site.
Why did you choose CSKA and what do you know about our club?
- I have chosen this club, because at this moment it’s the most serious project in the Europe. It is team with the big plans and with the remarkable coach. In my opinion, Ivkovic is the beast coach in Europe. The club has good organization, good players and good coach – for this reasons I have made decision to move to Russia.
Have you seen any games of CSKA at the last season?
- Last year we played at one group in Euroleague. CSKA has good players, who show good basketball. I know Dusan Ivkovic for a long tam, and I can imagine, as we shall play.
How do you like Moscow?
- I came here last year with Real, but it was short trip, only 3 days. I hadn’t much time to look something. I know, that Russia – is country with great history and traditions.
Please, tell us about you plans for this season?
- I want work and play at a high level. And I’d like to reach good results.
Today Tarlac has taken part in the CSKA training. After its termination head coach Dusan Ivkovic has commented appearance new player in the club:
- I know Tarlac for a long time, since he was 15 years old. Hi lived in a small town Novy sad and played in a local team Vojvodina. He was very talented boy. Later Dragan has passed to Olympiakos, where he played very good basketball. He won there many titles. But last two years, when he played in Chicago Bulls and Real, he wasn’t in a good shape. Now it’s a time of big hopes for him, for me and for team. I think, now he is ready to play high level basketball.
