Unicaja came to Moscow

Today Unicaja team came to Moscow. After the arriving they went to the hotel where they had a snachk. After it they came to USH CSKA to have a practice. Their center Frederic Weis and forward Stephane Risacher didn’t come to Moscow because of injures.
Today Unicaja team came to Moscow. After the arriving they went to the hotel where they had a snachk. After it they came to USH CSKA to have a practice. Their center Frederic Weis and forward Stephane Risacher didn’t come to Moscow because of injures. As the head coach of the team Sergio Scariolo said they will be able to play only next week. Injured guard Moustapha Sonko came but his chances for playing are too small. Next players are in the roster of Unicaja: guards Berni Rodriguez, Rafael Huertas, Carlos Cabezas, Louis Bullock, Moustapha Sonko, forwards Marcos Baltanas, Darren Phillip, Alberto Corbacho, Larry Lewis, Waler Hermann and center German Gabriel and Chuck Cornegay.
After the practice Sergio Scariolo agreed to answer several questions for our site:
What do you know about CSKA?
- Oh, I know everything. I saw many their games in the Euroleague, in . They have very good coach Ivkovic. We know each other very well. There are a lot of talented players in CSKA. It is the team with the big money and very good decisions in the building of the team. Their goal is to win Final Four.
Which CSKA players would you like in your team?
- Many of them. I don’t want to give names because it would be little misrespect to my players. But I like many of them.
What helped you to beat Maccabi?
- We played good. We showed good offense in the first half and good defense in the second.
What changed in your team in last two months after your first game against CSKA?
- In positive – they we played much more as a team. At that game I was with Unicaja only four days, so I couldn’t do anything. Now organization is better, but our physical conditions are not to good, because my miss many players now.
What do you need to defeat CSKA?
- We need to play great game, with all our possibilities. Now we have a goal to move to TOP-16. We are little bit far from it now. We want to play good games in the Euroleage like the game against Maccabi.
