Yesterday evening CSKA junipr team won the first game of the international basketball tournament The Trophey of Belgrade-2004 in Belgrade. In the debut they defeat local team Novi Sad 91-83.
Yesterday evening CSKA junipr team won the first game of the international basketball tournament The Trophey of Belgrade-2004 in Belgrade. In the debut they defeat local team Novi Sad 91-83.
The game was interesting and nervous. The army players won the first quarter with the double advantage. The hosts cuuld cut it to the big rest and catch our team: 47-48. After the third quarter the advantage of CSKA was 14 points again: 61-75/ It was enough for the final win.
Novi Sad - CSKA: 83-91 (18-34, 29-14, 14-27, 22-16)
Artur Urazmanov – 28 pts + 4 rb + 6 as + 3 bs
Igor Smygin – 23 pts + 3 rb
Anatoly Kashirov – 18 pts + 3 rb
Ilia Astafiev – 4 pts + 10 rb + 2 bs
Today CSKA will play in the second and the last game of the group stage against local team Nis.
