An amicable agreement was reached this week in New York where CSKA sued against ex-player of the army club Mario Austin.
Austin to Reimburse CSKA
An amicable agreement was reached this week in New York where CSKA sued against ex-player of the army club Mario Austin.

Before the 2003-04 season Mario Austin signed a 3-year contract with our club. During the pre-season camp he was injured. After that he has leaved the camp for his US doctors oponion. Braching his contract Austin refused to come back to CSKA and terminated the agreement with his agent. Then PBC CSKA and Austin’s agent appealed to a New York court.In addition to the judicial department of PBC CSKA, the lawyer of NBA Players Association Garry Hall also represented interests of our club.

Taking into account the youth of the player and the fans that he can not continue his career without letter of clearance, the management of PBC CSKA decided not to insist on hard sanctions. According to the amicable agreement, player will reimburse to CSKA for its expenses and judicial costs. After that our club will give Austin the letter of clearance.
