Opening of the second front
Russia Superleague A championship - the second of the "internal" tournaments where CSKA participates – will be opened for our team with the game against Lokomotiv-Kuban on a Sunday.

After the victory over Zalgiris in the debut meeting of the VTB League CSKA roster will likely remain unchanged. In his first game captain Victor Khryapa demonstrated a decent level of preparedness. CSKA injured list still includes Matjaz Smodis, who returned to Moscow from Israel after the surgery on his back on Thursday, and Alexander Kaun, who practices with the team in a restricted mode - his return is expected in one and a half or two weeks.

Opponents’ arrival is scheduled for Saturday, and the team will hold a practice session in the USH CSKA in the evening. It is assumed that the team will arrive in Moscow at full strength - for the start of the season all the players from Kuban recovered from injuries.

"Saso Filipovski is a good coach, whose teams have traditionally shown a controlled basketball inherited from Yugoslav school, - Evgeny Pashutin said. - Lokomotiv retained last year's core, in particular, such key players as Capin and Antic, and strengthened their backcourt. The team looked very decent at a recent tournament in Kazan, and its bosses declare high goals, so I think the game will be challenging and interesting. We are preparing very seriously, already reviewed the game against Zalgiris and we hope to demonstrate to the fans basketball of high quality."
