- I am sure the possibility of signing Torres was the best that we have having David Vanterpool injured, - says CSKA senior Vice president Andrey Vatutin. – We made it in the NBA style: we reached the agreement with only several hours before the application deadline. The talks were not easy, several times we were close to finish it and I am happy we finally reached the agreement. I want to point out the constructive way of making business of Khimki president Alexey Bodunkov and CEO Victor Bychkov. Today Torres would join CSKA for the evening practice and most likely he would be cleared to play in the Euroleague game with Joventut.

Besides all I want to wish all three players – Nikita Shabalkin, Vladimir Dyachok and Alexey Shved – luck and to assure them: we are sure the transfer would be the next step of their career.

- First of all, I would like to thank CSKA management for their quick reaction on Vanterpool injury, - says CSKA head coach Ettore Messina. – They provide us with the help of a very good player and a very good person. Of course, Oskar Torres will need some time to get into the system. But I am sure he would be able to help us.
