Novi Sad. First Day
Yesterday the Army team arrived in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia and Montenegro, on Yugoslavian Airlines from Moscow. The team took a comfortable hour-long bus ride to the hotel, 17 kilometers outside of Novi Sad, where the Champions Cup tournament is being held.

After settling in, the players gathered in the hotel to head off to practice. At that moment the bus with the Panathinaikos players arrived. The Army team warmly greeted its former teammate Nikolaos Chatzivrettas, who is now playing for the Greek club.

The evening practice, attended by all 12 CSKA players who came to Serbia, went for two hours. This morning the team held one more hour-long practice in the main arena. After lunch, the Army coaching staff planned a video session to scout the opponent, and at 18:30 CSKA headed out for the game against Unicaja.
