CSKA junior team start in 1/8 of Cup of Russia

Tomorrow CSKA junior team in the first game of 1/8 of Cup of Russia will play against Khimki Moscow Region. The game will take place at USH CSKA. The starting of the game at 13:00 CET. The entering is free.

Several days ago junior team has return from Saint-Petersburg where they have participated in the first round of the semifinal of the junior basketball league. Our team won 5 games from 5. The head coach of the team Eugeny Pashutin about last and previous games:
I would like to congratulate my guys with this result. First three games against local Konti, Avtodor Saratov and CSK Samara were not easy for us. But my team has shown character. It was clearly seen in the third quarter in the game against Avtodor. It is tough opponent; there are players of the Russian team of 1986 year birthday in it.
It was bad start for us. In the first quarter Saratov advantage was 8-10 points. But we could change the course of the game after the big rest. We played very good in the third quarters. Other coaches and our players have notice it. Our team was as a single whole – like main CSKA. So game they must show all 40 minutes.
The second round of the semifinal will take place in Saratov. Avtodor promised to take revenge. I think it would be interesting.
Tomorrow we have to play tough game against Khimki. It is very good chance for my player to show their self in the game against adult and experienced team. We, coaches, will try to help them to play good. We are preparing to this game like to any game we wan to win.
