Korolev left for LA Clippers

The agreement between PBC CSKA, forward Yaroslav Korolev and NBA club LA Clippers was signed yesterday. According to it CSKA breaks a contract with Korolev and Clippers receives all the rights on the player. The transfer on CSKA side would be completed as soon as the club would send the letter of clearance to RBF.

According to it CSKA breaks a contract with Korolev and Clippers receives all the rights on the player. The transfer on CSKA side would be completed as soon as the club would send the letter of clearance to RBF. Clippers should get the letter and register the contract in the NBA.
Let us remind you that Korolev was number 12 at the 2005 draft. It is the highest ever number of the Russian player. The player already joined the team for the preseason.
PBC CSKA wishes the player good luck in the world strongest league and is looking forward to see Yaroslav as one of the best basketball players in Russia and in Europe in general!

- I would like to wish Yaroslav all the best in his new team. Actually it took us rather long to decide whether to let Korolev go or not because the coaching staff counted on him for the season. But at last we decided to meet players’ and his parents’ expectations and to let this transfer happened. On our side we would go on making the conditions and would try to find other young Russian talents.
