The historical USA tourney for CSKA will be finished tomorrow after the game versus Cleveland Cavaliers. The team is in the town already and worked out on the great Cavs practice facility.
It is easy to visit Cleveland. It’s enough to mention that the Quicken Loans Arena is just one block away from the hotel. But the Cavs are rarely practice on The Q. No surprise: Cleveland Clinic Courts where CSKA was practicing on Friday evening is great in means of basketball, size, design, equipment – medical, athletic and… cooking. Just after showers the hosts invited the team from Russia to have a dinner. Club’s chief Terry who knows the preferences of LeBron James and Shaqille O’Neal told that it is the first time when the visiting team has a lunch at the facility.
CSKA practiced with no taping again – most of the time the players worked out in the weightlifting room and shot out. Victor Khryapa was practicing individually.
“The tiredness increases but the level of opponents – not, - CSKA head coach Dusko Vujosevic said. We became the first European team to play 3 games vs NBA teams in America. I will be satisfied if our team will play with the same motivation it had in Miami and Oklahoma City. Cavs are an athletic, fast team and it is necessary to move the ball well and to lessen the number of turnovers.”
