After the end of press conference for mass media, CSKA leadership, coaching staff, first-team players and, it was a surprise of the evening, also famous veterans went to a tradition meeting with supporters which took place on the main arena of USH CSKA.

CSKA chief Olga Smorodskaya started with opening speech in which she especially remarked that our team has a large amount of youngsters in its current roster. The CEO of the club Sergey Kushchenko apologized for team’s performance in Euroleague Final Four and said that he pinned his hopes with new coach Ettore Messina and believed that Army men could finally win the lifelong trophy.
In his turn CSKA Head Coach laid stress on club’s need in supporters and told them that only with their help the team could succeed. And captain Sergey Panov was thankful with veterans for their coming and pointed out that they are modal professionals and our young players could only learn how to win the most important games from them.
In conclusion of the evening established scholarships from PBC CSKA were presented to Anatoly Astakhov, Vladimir Andreev, Sergey Belov, Gennady Vol’nov, Ivan Edeshko, Viktor Zubkov and Eugeny Karpov. Later they will be sent to Alzhan Zharmukhamedov and Mikhail Semenov who were not able to attend the meeting.
