Today CSKA guard Jon Robert Holden came to Moscow in order to join Russian National team. Let us remind you that the guard received Russian citizenship in 2003 but would make a debut in the National team this year. This means that CSKA would be represented in the team by four players.

By the way Russia lost to the first game of Federation Supercup to Lithuania – 58-73. CSKA representatives did not succeed in the game. Only Alexey Savrasenko managed to score 2 points. Vladimir Dyachok and Zakhar Pashutin were scoreless. By this loss Russian National team lost a chance to win the trophy, according to the regulation of the tournament only a team that would win two games (at home and away) receives the prize.

Lithuania would try to win the trophy in Moscow. The second game would be held at USK CSKA. The date is set for September, 8th.
