At the traditional press-conference the head coach of CSKA Dusan Ivkovic said, that the result of the game is not contrary to the fact:
- Today was the first official game for CSKA in the new season. Official games are not the same that the preseason games. I would like to congratulate Lokomotiv who played very well today. At some moment my team played not logical. They was not good at the defense. We played bad in the three-second area, because our centers are not in the good shape yet. This month we have to play 4 games. So we have to work a lot.
The head coach of Lokomotiv Rostov Rimas Girskis congratulated CSKA and thanked his team.
- I would like to thank my player for this game. Some times my team played very well at the defense and at the attack. It was close game. But at the end they were better. Of course, we haven’t enough high player, that’s why weren’t good in rebounds. We have to sign good playmaker and center.
