Eugeny Pashutin: Coaching profession is very difficult
CSKA junior team returned to Moscow as Euroleague champions in their ages. We asked the head coach of the team Eugeny Pashutin to comment results of junior tournament in Tel-Aviv and share his impressions about coaching work:

- First of all I would like to congratulate my team with this win. They have shown their self on a very high level and get good results. They have shown that Russian juniors can show high results. On this tournament the most difficult was the game against Zalgiris. Lithuanian basketball is known as very good. They have good basketball school. And Zalgiris came to Tel-Aviv as last year champions.

Final game against Montepaschi could be finding very easy. But we had good preparation to it. We knew that Italians throws good from perimeter. We tried to explain our team that they have to isolate main snipers of our opponent. We tried to neutralize strong sides of Montepaschi but nobody thought that it become so easy.

This year junior basketball league was the last time tournament for several players because of their age. What about their future?

- It is special program for these players. We devote much time to them because it is our future. We have to show them where to go. The question about them will be deciding on a very high level.

Give please your expressions from coaching work?

- It is very difficult profession. The head coach is always guilty in losing. I need always to be in form, I need to search, to work and to learn more and more to conform to modern basketball. But on another hand it is very interesting.

What was the most difficult for you?

- Ability to control the psychological climate in the team. Also in the junior team all players have their own character. We need to find key to all of them. We need to unite them for our general tasks. We need to go in one foot with them. May be it is not the most difficult but one of the main moments in our work.
