Evgeny Pashutin became Spartak St.Petersburg head coach
Today Evgeny Pashutin became the head coach of Spartak St.Petersburg head coach. Former CSKA captain became the coach of the team 5 years ago.

Andrei Vatutin, CSKA CEO:

- Evgeny is not only the outstanding athlete, our former player, team captain, the coach for us. First of all he is the person who started with us CSKA project six years ago. The person who trusted in our ideas and the person was addicted to our project for all the period. It is very hard to find anyone who would be so involved in the system. All together we went through wins and losses, success and upsets, a lot of things changed but we still under stand each other. Evgeny is a true part of CSKA family. We believe that the time for him to work himself came. I believe St. Petersburg is a great platform for the start. Evgeny starts the brand new life and we wish him luck. We believe that he can make it.

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- I am happy for Zhenya. After so much job in CSKA, he received the great opportunity to work in a basketball city as St.Petersburg. I hope he would enjoy it and he will stay the part of CSKA family and would receive any possible help from the coaches and the office of the team.
