CSKA signed Jamont Gordon

Our team strengthened its backcourt by adding guard Jamont Gordon (23 years, 194 cm) to the roster. American player signed three-year contract with CSKA which will become official after medical exams.

Gordon moved to Europe after three years in Mississippi State University, 2008 NBA Draft were he was ignored by NBA clubs and unsuccessful try to make Philadelphia 76ers team during NBA Summer League. He started his pro career in Italian Fortitudo. Then he moved to Cibona Zagreb where he became one of the leaders. Croatian team made it to the Euroleague Top 16 where Jamont averaged 20.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 blocks. His average stats in Euroleague – 13.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 1.8 steals, 0.9 blocked shots, in Adriatic League – 14.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.9 steals, 0.3 blocked shots.
