Our team flew to Samara today by Transaero charter flight to join Russian Cup competition on Saturday. In the first game of quarterfinal series CSKA will play versus Krasnye Krylia.
Coaches will use the same roster they used in the Euroleague game vs Prokom Gdynia. Injured Matjaz Smodis and Victor Keyru as well as ill Artem Zabelin stayed in Moscow.
“Samara team is able to surprise, and it showed it by defeating Triumph in Lyubertsy a week ago, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin said.
