KRKA Slovenia came to Moscow. The head coach of the team Petar Skansi took to the game against CSKA 11 players. One of the key KRKA players Sani Becirovic didn’t came to Moscow because of injury.
KRKA Slovenia came to Moscow. The head coach of the team Petar Skansi took to the game against CSKA 11 players. There are: Matej Venta, Boris Gnjidic, Marko Antonijevic, Igor Ivaskovic, Mario Dundovic, Slavko Duscak, Ante Grgurevic, Marton Bader, Jure Balazic, Martin Mihajlovic and Rick Rickert. One of the key KRKA players Sani Becirovic didn’t came to Moscow because of injury.
In the evening they had a 2-hour practice in USH CSKA. Before it Petar Skansi agreed to answer several questions for our site:
Who are the main favorites in Euroleague this season?
- There are teams from our group. I think that Maccabi and CSKA are sure favorites. But there are some teams which can hide danger. It is Barcelona with Bodiroga. And some other team, may be some surprise.
What are your targets for this season?
- Our main target is to reach ULEB Cup for the next season. We would like to play good in Euroleague this year.
Who from CSKA players would you like to see in your team?
- I coached Victor Alexander in Greece. He plays very well, he is a great player. But all other players starting from Mirsad Turkcan to other guys… I know them all. I met Brown and Holden before. I think that all CSKA players are very good guys. But I would like to see Russian players in my team: Monya and Khryapa and other good Russians.
What does your team need to defeat CSKA?
- We play without ambitions in Euroleague. Our team, our club is very small without names without possibilities. But we are very happy to play in European club. Our players are young, they have to play with the team with the great experience.
