CSKA came to Athens
Today the delegation of the army team by the charter flight from the airport Vnukovo-3 went to Athens to the first road games of Euroleague ULEB 2004/05. 12 player moved to Greece. There are guard Theodoros Papaloukas, Marcus Brown, Jon Robert Holden, Zakhar Pashutin, Vassily Zavoruev, forwards Sergey Panov, Sergey Monya, Dimos Dikoudis, Martin Muursepp, Antonio Granger and centers Alexey Savrasenko and David Andersen.

The flight took about 3 hours and a half. There was good and warm weather in Greece: about +21 by Celcius. It was a little surprise that this moment there were not any journalists. So, our delegation moved to the bus and went to the hotel. Athens changed great from our last visit, but as every time CSKA have not any time to look sightsings. They have very tough schedule. Right after the accomodation the team went to look a video and then to 2-hour practice.

Our tomorrow game will take place in Olympic Stadium OAKA. For two year Panathinaikos had to play in a little arena with the tribunes for 2000 spectators only.

Also one personal fan of Jon Robert Holden came from Belgia to see his game. This girl was on the first road game of CSKA in Euroleague last year. That time the army team defeat Unicaja from Malaga.
