Andrey Maltsev named CSKA junior project head coach
CSKA junior project have Andrey Maltsev as its head coach again. It should be mentioned that Russian specialist worked on the same position from 2005, but in November 2010 was promoted to main team coaching staff.

Andrey Vatutin, PBC CSKA President:
Andrey joined the main team’s coaching staff in difficult moments of previous season and showed his best qualities – professionalism, spirit, responsibility, ability to build friendly working atmosphere inside the team. He is worth the best and sincere words for it. We would like to strengthen the work of our junior project and we don’t see the other candidate for this. In his years with the club Andrey showed evident abilities to find the common language with youth, to combine buoyancy and toughness, to achieve good results in Russian and international competitions. I am glad that the young Russian specialist remains in our club. Hopefully he will continue to show the highest level of work.

Andrey Maltsev:
I appreciate the chance to work in main team. And I am glad to be back to the junior team. I see my mission in preparation of young players and I have more pleasure from this kind of work right now. In three months of work alongside Jonas Kazlauskas I learnt his system, and I will promote its basics into junior team. We already form the roster for the next season and we plan the preparation process.
