Congratulations to everyone who celebrates the New Year by the old calendar. Congratulations to my players for the win and performance. We had two different motivated teams. With all respect to Armani, I would like to talk about ours. We were coming in the EuroLeague from three bad results. We did correct this. We opened the game very motivated and aggressive, both defensively and offensively. At the end of the first quarter the score was almost 20 for us. We kept the same tempo in the second quarter. Definitely we kind of relaxed a little bit in the start of the third, but it’s to be expected. We respected the game for all 40 minutes. We’re the better team, so we deserved to win. Thank you to the fans who came in good numbers, I think they got something to enjoy for the holidays.

I can’t say that we won easily today. We lost three games in a row so we had to come back to playing our game and to our plan. Despite the fact that we had only three days after VTB United League round to prepare for the game – we took it seriously. It was hard for EA7 Milan to resist today. We showed good basketball all the time on the court, now we need to keep this tempo. Then it will be tough to fight with us for our future opponents.
