Yesterday in Israel CSKA forward Artem Zabelin underwent surgery on his injured right knee. It is estimated that it will take about nine months for the player’s full rehabilitation.
An arthroscopy confirmed the torn ACL diagnosis and ACL was reconstructed, CSKA doctor Roman Smetanin explained to the club’s press office. Also surgeons revealed and repaired the damage to the lateral meniscus.
Today Zabelin will be discharged and will be aimed at 10 day primary rehabilitation. Then the player will continue his recovery in Moscow.
