Our team took OrenAir charter flight to Kazan to fight with UNICS for the first place in VTB United League.
“CSKA and UNICs currently are on top in VTB League standings and that says how important is the game for both sides,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “Both teams went through some changes since we met in Moscow but Kazan side remains a very good team with multiple offensive options. The game will be different and difficult, we have to approach it with due concentration and motivation as we battle for the first position in the league.”
Dmitry Kulagin is back into roster after missing one game with twisted ankle. Anton Astapkovich, Mikhail Kulagin and Demetris Nichols (broken bone in foot) stayed in Moscow.
