In the second straight game of Russian Superleague CSKA will play against yet undefeated team. Our team will meet UNICS in Kazan tomorrow.
Transaero regular flight brought to Tatarstan capitol the same players who were on the roster for the game against Olimpija Ljubljana won on Wednesday. That means that J R Holden was left at home again. Starting point guard’s body temperature surprisingly dropped to 36.8 (after 39 a day ago). But team doctors and coaching staff did not force one of the leaders to get back on the court.
“UNICS kept the core which allow the team to show quality game from the beginning of the season, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin said. Loncar, Popovic, Lyday, Samoilenko and Veremeenko know each other well, the other players follow their lead, coach Chomicius is used to the same fast and aggressive style which is familiar to UNICS. To be successful we should start from defense and to follow our offensive plan very carefully.”
