Will Barton: NBA addition!

This will be Barton's first experience of playing outside North America. Will spent almost his entire long career at the highest level: the 40th pick of the 2012 NBA draft played eleven seasons in the strongest league in the world with Portland, Denver, Washington and Toronto.

Will played 679 NBA regular season games (286 starts) with averages of 11.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists on 35.5% three-pointers, 29 playoff games (9 starts) – 10.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.7 assists on 33.9% three-pointers and had a brief appearance in last season's play-in game with the Raptors. The basketball player spent most of his professional career - eight years - with the Nuggets, and at the time of leaving the club he was its all-time leader in the number of three-pointers made (804), losing this position to Jamal Murray (919) just over the last year. In 2016, Barton competed in the All-Star Weekend slam dunk contest.

After finishing last season with Toronto, the guard remained in free agent status and practiced individually.

Will is a well-known player with a big experience of playing in the NBA. He will need to prepare himself for European basketball and he will need a little time to adjust to it. I hope this break in February will give us enough time to incorporate him into our team and our system. We hope he will help us achieve our goals this season.
