Home game vs Khimki opens the Russian Supereleague third leg for our team. The stake is the first place in the regular championship which can be claimed by CSKA in the case of victory with two games to play.

For the first time this season the army team hospital is empty: all the players are practicing in full strength including Matjaz Smodis as well as Alexander Kaun, Ramunas Siskauskas and Trajan Langdon who were recovering after minor injuries.

“Traditionally difficult game awaits for us as we meet our main competitor, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin said. Khimki are in good shape, the play aggressive basketball which they showed in the game vs UNICS. Minard joined their team and he added to their strength. We are very serious and we will base our game on defense as usually.”
