New uniform – new emotions

Our club hosted the long-awaited clinic in Moscow Suvorov Military School as part of One Team, Euroleague and basketball clubs social project.
All this thanks to the fact that One Team ambassadors – CSKA Moscow captain Victor Khryapa and Olympic champion Sergey Tarakanov handed to Suvorov Military School students basketball uniform created by Nike especially for the children. Tarakanov noted that in his childhood he couldn’t even dream about such uniform and advised to look after it well. The equipment became a gift for efforts on basketball classes. Now guys can wear the Army Men symbolics, as the main team does.
Boys instantly changed the clothes and began to warm up in runs and defensive slides; jumps with 360 turn, leg stretching were added to the exercises already known to the students.
The main attention was paid to assists. As children there were in odd quantity, Sergey Tarakanov helped one student making a couple; he was replaced by Khryapa later. Passes were made directly to the chest: at first pupils did that in couples running the court and making shots. From last clinic pupils understood the importance of rebounds therefore they made them without hints. Further boys began to learn how to make long passes; itwas quite difficult at once, but it is interesting that the smaller boys – point guards – performed this element better. After they played already familiar game together with coaches.
After the clinic guys were looking at the new uniforms for a long time, obviously they didn’t want to change clothes into military amunition. They didn’t let Khryapa go and requested to leave the autograph to everyone, then asked Tarakanov about CSKA, and wished Victor fast recovery and victories with team.
