The battle for the lead in the Euroleague Top 16 Group G will continue in Gdynia, Poland, where our team will face local Prokom for the second time in two weeks.

CSKA went to Polish Baltic seaside for the second time this season. It was Prokom who was the first army team’s opponent in the series of exhibition games before the Euroleague start. Red-blues took difficult victory from Gdynia that first time.

Transaero charter flight brought the team to the destination point on Tuesday night, the players, coaches and staff went to Sopot, accommodated in the hotel with seaside views and enjoyed the dinner. CSKA roster is identical to those used in previous games – the dozen is missing Matjaz Smodis and Victor Keyru who are recovering after back injuries.

“It will be a crucial game against strong team which has excellent players on every position, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin said. Prokom consistently showed its strength during this Euroleague season, the team demonstrates aggressive, quality basketball at home and the players are additionally motivated when they play in front of their home crowd. I am sure that tough, physical game awaits us, we should act attentively and control the tempo of the game.”
