Euroleague press-release announced today, that its locker rooms will be open for journalists. Following new policies media will be admitted to the locker rooms during 15 minutes following after games. Besides it’s authorized to them to be presented on practices before matches for at least 20 minutes.
This unprecedented innovation for basketball Europe, borrowed at NBA. It has been approved by all commands-participants of Euroleague. In their opinion, new rules will do well for all: to clubs, journalists and fans. They will allow mass-media to communicate with basketball players and coaches not only at formal press conferences, but also in informal conditions.
New rules were declared in Frankfurt on a traditional meeting between the coaches of clubs-participants of an Euroleague and the refereeing department.
