Russian Basketball Federation published the results of annual internet-vote of Men and Women Superleague clubs as well as RBF Executive Committee who chose the best of the best in Russian Basketball in 2009. The big number of prizes went to our club.
The main prize went to CSKA captain Victor Khryapa who was voted as the Player of the Year. CSKA forward Ramunas Siskauskas was named Foreign Player of the Year in the Superleague. Evgeny Pashutin who started the year 2009 as Spartak St. Petersburg head coach and continued in our club was voted as the best Russian coach working with the Superleague teams. PBC CSKA won the prize for best management. The victory in Russian League and the Euroleague final game appearance allowed former CSKA head coach, current Real Madrid coach Ettore Messina to be voted as the Coach of the Year in Russian Superleague.
Awarding ceremonies will be held during upcoming games of the Superleague and Russian Cup.
