CSKA landed in St. Petersburg again
Today our team flew to St. Petersburg for the second time in a month to play against Spartak – this time in the Russian Superleague game.

Previous meeting with red-whites happened in Kondrashin and Belov Cup semifinals on September 26. It ended with CSKA win in overtime.

Army team roster misses Matjaz Smodis (ankle) and Nikos Zisis (unable to play in the Superleague). Smodis will continue to recover in Moscow, and team’s doctors point out on positive dynamics of the recovery. Trajan Langdon got the cut on his head during morning practice but went to St. Petersburg together with his teammates.

Ettore Messina:

“Last time here in St. Petersburg we almost lost to Spartak which played without Zozulin and Meshcheriakov. So we expect very difficult game. At the same time we hope to continue the progress we showed during the game against Armani Jeans”.
