For the first time in the history of Russian basketball the game of the Euroleague regular season attracted more than 14 000 people who visited the game at the modern Megasport Arena.

CSKA vs. Tau Ceramica: 70-62

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- The game was very difficult because of two reasons. First, we won the game in Vitoria and this made TAU play without pressure. Second, this night was outstanding for Russian basketball. The game was organized well thanks to the effort and cooperation of many people of Moscow Government, Arena and PBC CSKA management and the fans. We wanted to show our best game and to win. But when one wants to show the best it never comes easy. I think the key was the 3rd quarter and in the end we were a bit tired, but we received some help from our young center Anatoly Kashirov.

Neven Spahija, TAU head coach:

- I would like to congratulate CSKA on the win. We play inconsistent game. We had ups and downs. The team can not afford playing like that in case it wants to win the kind of the game.
