Thank you, Yuriy!

The 25-year-old basketball player is a native Muscovite, a graduate of the sports school and youth project of CSKA, for whose teams he played for six seasons. After the end of the CSKA period, which included his debut for the main team, Umrikhin spent two years in Samara, after which he again put on the red and blue colors and unconditionally accepted the role of a reserve, whose task is to counter the leaders in the training process.

In the 2024-25 season, Yuriy took part in three official games for CSKA, scoring a total of 18 points and 4 assists in 20 minutes on the court, while becoming an important link in the team's campaign for the title of champions of the VTB United League.

Yuriy is one of those alumni of our club, whom we treat with special love and respect. He is a very talented basketball player and a wonderful, incredibly sincere and kind person, who creates an atmosphere of ease and friendliness around himself. I am sure that the best years of Umrikhin's career are still ahead, so we will closely follow him, wish him luck and count on his return.
