Thank you, Luka!
Center Luka Mitrovic is leaving our team at the end of his contract...
The Serbian basketball player joined the Red-Blues in December as a free agent, replacing Tonye Jekiri, who joined Partizan.
Mitrovic played in 46 games, finishing fourth in efficiency (10.3 PIR) behind Trimble, Jean-Charles, and Ware. He averaged 6.0 points (62.3% of his two-point attempts – a team-best), 4.8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 0.7 steals in 16.9 minutes per game.
Luka helped CSKA win all of the titles this season, finishing as the Army Men's most efficient player in the WINLINE Basket Cup final game (16 PIR), and seventh in efficiency among all participants in the VTB League Finals (10.8 PIR).

Mitrovic is one of the most successful acquisitions we've ever made during the season. When we signed him, Aleksa Avramovic sent me a message assuring that the newcomer would be a great help – and he was right. Luka needed some time to regain his physical condition after a long period without competitive experience and to learn the team's system. After that, he became a vital part of our rotation, one of the most valuable players at the end of the regular season and in the playoffs. Luka is a rare type of player who excels at what he can do and doesn't try anything he can't. We thank him a lot for work, dedication, and help in winning all the trophies this season! I'm confident that playing for CSKA will give his career a new impetus. We sincerely wish him good luck and good health in the next stage of his life!

Beyond his quality as a player, Luka is an outstanding professional and a person of the highest character. It has been a privilege to have him in our locker room. He will always be part of CSKA history. We wish him every success in the next chapter of his career.
