Thank you, Olivier!
Following the expiration of his contract, guard Olivier Hanlan is leaving our team...
The Canadian player joined the red-blue team in early March, strengthening the backcourt during the absence of the injured Casper Ware, and gradually became a key reserve for the champion team. Hanlan appeared in 21 games, averaging 18.1 minutes, 9.0 points on 43.5 percent 3-point shooting.
Andrey Vatutin, PBC CSKA President:
Olivier came to our team during a difficult period, when we urgently needed reinforcements, proved himself to be a true professional, in the shortest possible time managed to get used to CSKA system and become the most important player in the rotation. He helped a lot on our path to the championship, deservedly adding VTB League gold to his collection. I am sure that Hanlan will have many more successes in the next stages of his career, I would like to sincerely thank him for his performances in our team and wish him good luck in the future.
Andreas Pistiolis, CSKA head coach:
I would like to thank Olivier for his contribution this season. He came in a difficult time, and accepted a difficult role. He did so with professionalism and unselfishness, and always put the team first. I wish him good luck for the next chapter of his career.
