Transaero Airlines Boeing moved our team to Volga banks today – for the third time this season. CSKA will play vs Krasnye Krylia on Monday in a third game of quarterfinal series of Russian championship playoffs. CSKA leads series 2-0.
Away roster misses Ramunas Siskauskas who continues his therapy in Moscow. Also missing is Zoran Planinic who had to stay in Moscow due to back problems.
“With Zoran out the team should feel even more unified, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin said. I am sure that the opponent will be much more motivated on his homecourt. We will pay more attention to defense again, will try to limit Samara’s offense to 60 points and our plan is to control the rhythm of the game, not allowing them to run.”
