Guard Trajan Langdon left our team after the end of the season and upon the expiration of his contract. One of the best shooters in history of European basketball decided to retire, and our club wishes him to stay on top in his life after sports.
Langdon signed with CSKA in 2005 and in his 6 seasons with the club won 2 Euroleague titles (2006, 08), 6 Russian Championships (2006-11), 3 Russian Cups (2006, 07, 10) and VTB United League (2010). Trajan was named the Euroleague Final Four MVP in Madrid in 2008, he was named the Best Foreign Player of Russian Superleague the same year, he was elected to the All-Euroleague First Team twice (2007, 2008).

Of course we expected this moment to come, but it is still tough to say goodbye to Trajan. He became a part of the team, of the family in his 6 years with CSKA, he helped us to win a number of titles both in Russia and in Europe. All the team members, club’s staff, fans saw in Trajan not only the greatest shooter ever, reliable and proven fighter but intelligent, responsive person, the role model on and off the court. I am happy that Trajan has deep Russian roots now which give us a chance to see him on our arena in future.
