Pre-game breakdown

CSKA previous domestic league game took place on October 10, when Avtodor visited Moscow. Two games (vs Zenit and Nizhny Novgorod) were postponed due to COVID-19 cases. The red-and-blues played 4 EuroLeague games since then.

The Army Men practiced with the full roster for the first time in a very long period. The coaching staff has to take decisions on both Russian and foreign players. Enisey arrived to Moscow without head coach Drazen Anzulovic, players Ivan Viktorov, Ilya Popov and Artem Komissarov. Assistant coach Pavel Dergachev will lead the team.
