Our team will play its first exhibition game of the preseason today against Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius.
Main news for CSKA fans - Ramunas Siskauskas will play against his former team as he fully recovered from injury. Nevertheless, the injured list is long enough - Matjaz Smodis (back) and Viktor Khryapa (knee) can not help their teammates Alexander Kaun (back) and Dmitry Sokolov are questionable - Sokolov injured an adductor muscle during evening training session and was sent to MRI this morning.

Gomelsky grew up several generations of champions and raised CSKA to the highest level. He was always called Papa (Dad), because he was like a father for any player, strict but fair. We will step onto the court today in the name of him.
As for our first game of the tournament, it should be noted that Lietuvos Rytas played seven friendlies already, the team is on the move, it is headed by a great coach Rimas Kurtinaitis, who won the Eurocup last season.
