The streak should be broken
When every game matters our team is destined to play its historical rival – one of the most honored teams in Europe Panathinaikos Athens. The win is necessary as a breather.

Greek club is one of the most uncomfortable opponents for Muscovites. CSKA lost on 6 previous occasions, not to consider friendly games lost – 2008 Gomelsky Cup final and Alvertis Farewell Game in 2009. Besides, Russian champions lost 3 previous games in Euroleague and PBL. But any streak comes to an end sometime.

Army team will step on the floor without two key players – Alexander Kaun (knee) and Victor Khryapa (ankle). Panathinaikos flew to Moscow without Aleks Maric (elbow).

"Panathinaikos has a great system based on pick-and-rolls, - CSKA interim coach Dmitry Shakulin said. They spread the defense with their passing, they have a number of excellent players at every position, they make you pay for mistakes and forced shots. But we know their strengths and we will prepare well. We are still in the race for the Top 16 and we will try our best to keep the dream of making it alive."
