Russian National Team began its preparation for Eurobasket 2009 in Novogorsk today. The first training camp features eleven CSKA representatives.
The list of 17 players called upon by David Blatt includes 7 players with CSKA contracts - Andrey Vorontsevich, Alexander Kaun, Victor Keyru, Nikita Kurbanov, Anton Ponkrashov, Dmitry Sokolov and Alexey Shved. Coaches Evgeny Pashutin, Dmitry Shakulin, athletic coach Georgy Artemiev and physiotherapist Asker Barcho will also work with the national team.
