On Saturday against UNICS our team again will play shorthanded. It is possible that Ettore Messina will have only Nikos Zisis as a point guard.
After the game against Dynamo Moscow J R Holden went back to the USA for family reasons. His return is expected during the week. Zoran Planinic took part in a Friday practice but he is questionable for the game. Anyway junior team's guard Denis Polokhin was practicing with the team.
Team from Kazan still misses injured Terrell Lyday and Marc Jackson though Lyday practiced on Friday.
"The games against UNICS were always tough, - Ettore Messina said. - The team was always playing good defense and it is one of the best rebounding teams in Russian league. The game will be even tougher because of Holden's absence and uncertainty with Planinic's status. So today we have only one veteran point guard."
