CSKA junior team has finished playing in the first stage of Superleague championship on the second place in it's group. In the fourth round in Lyubertsy the team won two games and lost one, but this time to a different opponent.
"The result was the same, - CSKA-2 head coach Andrey Maltsev said. - And all the round left different feelings. We won the games against Triumph and Dynamo showing good basketball. But there was a fly in the ointment - on the third day we played bad. We were influenced by the absense of Maxim Zakharov who was called up to the main team, and Alexey Shved did not join us at all. So our rotation in the backcourt was very short. Also after the game against Dynamo our players lost their concentration and the quality of the game decreased significantly. That is why, for instance, the team made just 1 three-pointer out of 17."
In the second stage CSKA-2 will play for redistributing of the places in final stage. The opponents of our team are Dynamo, UNICS, Lokomotiv-Rostov, Enisey and Ural-Great.
