Today Moscow Army team went to Perm by the charter flight from the airport Ostafievo. There they will play the last game of this year against local Ural-Great, the finalist of the last Russian Championship.
Today Moscow Army team went to Perm by the charter flight from the airport Ostafievo. There they will play the last game of this year against local Ural-Great, the finalist of the last Russian Championship. The team went to the capital of Prikamie in the strongst squad. Mirsad Turkcan who has miss the game against Zalgiris because of the injury moved back to the roster, and Egor Vialtsev stayed in Moscow.
This game has meet in Perm much more interest rather then games of Ural-Great in the Euroleague FIBA. There are a lot of advertising banners in the center of the city confirming about forthcoming derby. But you already can`t use it as a inviti because there are no more tickets for this game. All seven thousands tickets were selling in the end of the last week.
Because of the New Year coming the streets of the city were filled with a dense stream of cars. That`s why our team has need much more time to catch the hotel. Toy signing Santa Claus has meet us in the hall of the hotel. Theodoros Papaloukas who sat down near him became the targer for the jokes of his teammates.
After the traditional meeting and video-analysis players went to the universal sport arena Molot by bus. Because of the hokkey game the arena was not ready for practices yet. That`s why aour team had practice in the training room of Ural-Great. After the arriving in the hotel players has found presents in their rooms: congratulatory cards, toy new year`s trees and christmas souvenirs. Then they came to the restaurant for the dinner which has passed in very warm and cheerful condition. In the honour of the catholic Christmas the duck with apples was preparated for foreign players. The best dish of the evening were ravioli preparated under the ancient recipe. Sergey Kuschenko parients preparated 2 thousands ravioli for our team who has eat it very quickly.
Dusan Ivkovic liked this dish so much that he said that cooks are world champions of ravioli preparing. Alexey Savrasenko was the most happy men this evening because of his double citizenship. Like russian guy he has eat ravioli and like greece men Alexios Amanatidis he has eat the christmas duck.
After the dinner players came back to their numbers. Tomorrow they will have 1-hour practice. In the evening they will go to Molot to play against Ural-Great with 7 thousand fans traditionally scanding the name of the Perm team.
