The first game of Jonas Kazlauskas as CSKA head coach will be a tough challenge. One of BEKO PBL favorites Lokomotiv-Kuban is waiting for our team in Krasnodar.
11 players boarded on Transaero Airlines Boeing. Ramunas Siskauskas (Achilles tendon) and Artem Zabelin (knee pains) stayed in Moscow. At the same time JR Holden and Matjaz Smodis are back to sports activities as well as Victor Khryapa who participates in full-contact practices besides his rehab procedures.
“The most difficult thing in our situation is the lack of time”, - CSKA head coach Jonas Kazlauskas said. “I try to explain a lot of things to the players but we have no time to prepare well. The other difficulty – the injuries. At the same time Lokomotiv is playing well lately, the team feels no pressure: first of all because its results are above expectations”.
