UNICS Kazan pretends to reach serious successes this season. The team prepares to meet CSKA at home – this time in PBL Championship game. 11 army men players went to capitol of Tatarstan by Transaero charter flight.
Alexander Kaun did not just fly with the team but he is ready to help it on the court. The center participates in full-contact practices with his teammates.
“I count on Sasha who can help us individually under the baskets with the things we missed for several months, - CSKA interim coach Dmitry Shakulin said. In my opinion, two losses from the same team are enough for one season. Coaches and players, everybody understands that the game in Kazan will decide, who will take the home-court advantage in the playoffs. We had very productive week again, we are in a good shape and we will do our best to transform our ideas into reality.”
Unfortunately, Ramunas Siskauskas wasn’t able to recover from knee injury. He stayed in Moscow as well as Victor Khryapa who continues to rehabilitate his injured ankle.
