Versus progress
CSKA’s way on the Superleague schedule led our team to St. Petersburg. The team will face Spartak which owns the last in the standings but continues to improve.

Red-blues flew to the northern capitol by Transaero regular flight and accommodated in the hotel late in the night. Away roster is identical to those in Kaunas – Artem Zabelin replaces Victor Keyru (back) in the dozen of players.

“Spartak improved a lot after the New Year, they started to play more aggressively, - CSKA head coach Evgeny Pashutin said. Their results are speaking for themselves: the team defeated Enisey in Krasnoyarsk, pushed Khimki to overtime and had a chance to win. Surely, home court will be a factor for them. We are preparing very seriously and we expect to have very intensive, tense game on the edge of foul.”
