The Game of the Year will be played in USH CSKA on Monday. The neighbors from Khimki are coming to face our team.

Three Russian clubs started Euroleague perfectly last week but the traditional opponents from Leningradka stood out. The Army Men routed 2014 champion Maccabi, Khimki confidently beat 2015 trophy winner Real. Taking into account great starts in VTB League both teams are coming to the game with no losses and that adds interest to the encounter.

“We have very difficult game in front of us,” CSKA head coach Dimitris Itoudis said. “Khimki were and remain the main rival for CSKA over the years so the game will be a part of historical competition. I would like to invite all our fans to come here on Monday and support the team.”

The game will be also interested off the court. It will be played as a part of 80-year celebration of Norilsk Nickel, CSKA owner. The fans will see colorful pre-game ceremony, visit just opened club’s museum and take part in different contests and attractions.
