Our team to close the week with the VTB League game in St.Petersburg.

Pre-game breakdown

The Army Men got the day off on Friday after the win against Bayern. So the team had just one practice to prepare for Zenit game.

Cory Higgins (foot) and Andrey Lopatin did not go to St.Petersburg.

CSKA is set to break the mini-streak of two straight losses in the Yubileiny Palace of Sports.

Word to the coach

Dimitris Itoudis, CSKA head coach:

Zenit went through coaching change recently, so they changed many things in their system, offensively and defensively. We have big respect to Zenit, they are a team with lots of talent and aggressiveness, they are tough opponent, and it is always difficult to play on their home court. We continue to go through our packed schedule. After a busy week we start another series of three road games, we will travel to Barcelona and Minsk after St.Petersburg. We continue to work on our game on both ends of the floor and we are sure that our hard work will pay off.

Каждый год Зенит дома нагибает ЦСКА, не без помощи судей которые свистели фолы которых рядом на метр не было. Но все равно уступать три года подряд Зениту, это как надо себя не уважать? Жаль этого покойный Гомельский не видет, он бы дал Ватутину и команде по щам!!! ПОЗОР!
